The Backstory

After years working in the pollination industry through a startup, Angie launched her own consulting business focused on the areas she was most passionate about: pollination science, certification, ecological consulting, and regenerative agriculture. She needed a brand system that could represent not just a new business, but the years of expertise, research, and experience behind it.

The goal was to create an identity that felt credible enough for a scientific organization, professional enough to stand alongside established ecological certifications, and approachable enough to reflect the natural systems APIS works to protect.

Together, we developed a complete brand system anchored by the Applied Pollination Institute of Science (APIS), the parent organization at the heart of the brand. From there, we created distinct identities for APIS Consulting, APIS Certifies, and APIS Farms, each connected through a shared bee-and-flower symbol while differentiated through a thoughtful color system.

In just two weeks, Angie received a flexible visual identity built to support the growth of an organization rooted in expertise, innovation, and a commitment to the future of pollination.
